Optimizing aneurysm treatment

Aortic Aneurysms: A Silent, Life-Threatening Condition
An aortic aneurysm is a bulging of the abdominal aorta caused by a weakened vascular wall. High blood pressure can cause it to grow and eventually rupture leading to massive internal bleeding, which is fatal in 8 out of 10 undiagnosed cases. (Source)
EVAR: A Life-Saving Solution with Long-Term Challenges
The standard treatment is EndoVascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR), a minimally invasive procedure where a stent graft reinforces the artery to prevent rupture. EVAR has revolutionized aneurysm treatment and helped thousands of people, but its benefits fade over time. Within 10 years, 1 in 3 patients requires one or more reinterventions due to sac growth, endoleaks, or graft migration, driving up costs, hospital burden, and patient risk. (long-Term Reintervention After Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair - Columbo et at. Ann Surg. 2021 July 01; 274(1): 179–185)
What if EVAR could truly be a long-term solution?
TripleMed’s AneuFix is used to fill the entire aneurysm sac around an EVAR endograft during the same procedure in which the endograft is placed. It is designed to transform EVAR by eliminating sac growth and preventing reinterventions, turning it into a first-time-right procedure.
Clinical studies are ongoing to demonstrate effectiveness, performance and safety of AneuFix for this indication.
Prevent endo leaks
AneuFix creates a durable and stable implant that shows promise to effectively prevent Type II Endoleaks in. (based on FIM clinical study results, see section ‘Validation’).
Stop sac growth
By preventing type II Endoleaks, AneuFix polymer will slow the progression of aneurysm sac expansion.
Endograft stability
AneuFix polymer is designed to encapsulate the endograft in order to stabilize the endograft and through this reduce the risk of migration.

Because good enough sometimes just isn’t good enough
Many aortic aneurysm patients, after undergoing an EVAR procedure, face ongoing uncertainty, requiring regular check-ups while knowing the aneurysm “time bomb” is still quietly ticking. We believe in changing lives, not just clinical outcomes, and are dedicated to perfecting the EVAR procedure. Elevating the standard of care and ensuring patients can return to their daily lives without worry and fully live their lives again.
More about usReducing strain on healthcare systems with fewer check-ups and complications
Patients
No more “ticking time bomb”, our aim is to improve treatment of the aortic aneurysm, allowing patients to live their lives free from the worry of rupture.
Surgeons
By addressing aortic aneurysm sac growth, Aneufix allows surgeons to confidently send patients home knowing the problem is optimally treated, providing peace of mind.
Hospitals
Aneufix is designed to reduce frequency of check-ups and minimize complications, easing the burden on healthcare systems while improving patient outcomes.
